Since reopening on December 8th 2025 after a period of closure, we have made major improvements to the fabric of The Ship Inn and announced the Tenancy by Cal Walker and his great team. Work on the garden has started with new benches throughout and all staff accommodation and B&B rooms have been completely refurbished. Ladies first – loo refurb for Ladies is complete and well thought of, with Men’s following. Several new projects on the horizon. No announcements as yet.

We are a happy and proud group of people who have managed to save our precious village pub, The Ship Inn right in the heart of Portloe on the Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall.
With a momentous effort, driven by a shared dream we work together in community and partnership to keep our pub, ship shape and sailing!
